I've had my Alpha-Stim for a few years, now. I have successfully used it to treat pain, anxiety, depression, and fibromyalgia. One day when I burned my thumb while cooking, I treated initially with cold water to stop the burn, and then rushed to my Alpha-Stim unit. Four minutes of treating the burn locally, and I could not find it. There was no pain. There was no sign of redness or blistering. I forgot about it until a few days later, when the burned skin sloughed off.
I am fairly clumsy, frequently bonking my knee or shin on something. One morning I got up and crashed into a clothes hamper near my bed. By the time I sat down to look at it, the bruise was well under way, blue and bright pink. By using the Alpha-Stim, I literally "chased" the bruise back into itself. It eliminated the pain AND the bruising, within a few minutes. The next day, while there was skin abraided away, there was no other sign of the impact.
In my opinion, Alpha-Stim should be used by EMTs and in trauma centers as an immediate treatment for such injuries. Granted, the injuries I referred to are not emergency room level traumas, but I would be interested to know if anyone has used the unit for more traumatic injuries....
Thanks again for this miraculous machine!!!
