Chaplain Dave Fair Presents Medical Devices on Recent Haiti Mission
, June 1, 2010
As a chaplain, and President of the Officer Down Foundation, I have the opportunity to participate in some interesting and beneficial projects
While in Haiti recently with the Hope For Haiti Medical Mission Team I had the privilege of presenting a number of medical devices donated by Electromedical Products International, Inc., a U.S. company that makes Alpha- Stim.
The devices are designed to help with pain, depression and other ailments and were a gift to the Haitian people by Dr. and Mrs. Daniel L. Kirsch of EPI.
Units were presented to Ing. Moise Charles Pierre, the Mayor of Fort Liberte, Haiti for use at the Fort Liberte Hospital where the Hope for Haiti Team worked our first trip following the Haiti earthquake.
Additional units were presented to M. David Jean Baptiste, the Mayor of Capotille, Haiti for use by medical workers there to treat the people of the community. We provided a mobile clinic for this community during our most recent trip.
Other recipients of Alpha-Stim units were Aslan Youth Ministries for use by trained personnel for the youth in the area of Quanamithe, Haiti. where we conducted three mobile clinics this visit.
On behalf of the people who will be helped by these medical devices I want to extend a thank you to the Kirsch family and Alpha-Stim. Learn more at www.alpha-stim.com.
The Hope for Haiti Medical Mission Trip was made possible by donations from supporters and religious institutions.

Crisis Chaplain with Dave Fair, Ph.D.
I’m been a police chaplain for over 20 years. Fifteen years of that time I’ve served as a deputy sheriff in a small central Texas town.
I’ve been honored to meet so many people who remind us that law enforcement is a noble profession. That is what “CRISIS CHAPLAIN BLOG” is all about. Celebrating America’s finest.
I hope you will check back from time to time. I have learned from the best. Their example will make you a better police officer, a more knowledgeable chaplain, or even a more enlightened citizen!
