I am a 53 year old male in good physical condition. I do my exercises religiously. In fact, I can't even stand up straight before doing my routine, which involves a lot of stretching throughout the day.

I've had 5 major back surgeries to date, and have spent 3 1/2 years in a wheelchair from 1989-1992/3. I was told that I would never walk again. Well, I had a difference of opinion with that particular doctor and proved him wrong. With a lot of hard work, positive attitude, and strong support from my loved ones, I persevered. To date, I've had several laminectomies, 2 failed fusions (one at 3 levels and one at 4 levels) that were both non-union, a dorsal column spinal implant installed to deal with my pain issue instead of using (abusing) every drug available to me, and bone spurs removed. Oh yeah, I was in a coma for 6 weeks because I went into septic shock when my backbone got infected from a procedure I was getting on a monthly basis for years and years in order to deal with my pain and to help keep me walking.

The Alpha-Stim® came into my life just recently as a few months ago, and I have never been more grateful for this life altering device than anything in my past that helps me deal with my pain. It truly has improved my quality of life by 1000%. I mean this sincerely.

Not only do I live at a "7" on the pain scale of 1 to 10, I'm plagued with severe migraine headaches on a regular basis. Well, I wouldn't have believed this if I wasn't the one writing this. It truly relieves my headaches- HURRAY!! This magical little box is a god-send to me and anyone else in the same sad situation. Lucky for me, a friend who just happens to be a medical doctor was recently in New York for a week seminar, where the Alpha-Stim® was given high marks in reduction of pain- way over the standard issue of the TENS unit. I cannot stop telling you, and more importantly thanking you, for my Alpha-Stim®. The only medications that I take now are 800mg Motrin, 10 mg Baclofen (muscle relaxer), and occasionally 10mg tramadol for pain. Most of the time, 1000mg of Aspirin is better than anything. When I use the Alpha-Stim® throughout the day, I take no meds at all. Now we're getting somewhere- really moving in a forward positive direction on the road of life. This is the best invention since the wheel, if you ask me, or even if you don't. I'm here to tell you that the Alpha-Stim® has changed my life all for the better and I'm very grateful to those of you that made it possible.
