After a weightlifting accident in 1988 I became a chronic pain patient with the diagnosis of classic sciatica, DJD, L 4-5-S1 with bulging discs. After five years of therapy, traction, pelvic traction, acupuncture, spas etc., my pain became so bad that I became disabled and I have not worked since 12-93.
I wanted an option besides surgery because of the chance of paralysis. This is when I sought the help of Rick Weaver, a noted sports medicine PA in our area. After smoking Camel straights for 30 years I quit. Now I am leading a much more active life with just a portion of the pain I used to have. I still am a long way from normal and healthy but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Alpha-Stim® has given me reason to hope. Thank you.
