Documentary Gives Thrilling Glimpse into Electromedical Treatment and Its Impact on Modern Medicine

“Electroceuticals are the next wave of new treatments we will have to treat disease,” states a November 4, 2019 Time magazine article titled “Why It’s Time to Take Electrified Medicine Seriously”.

The American Institute of Stress’ new documentary, The Brain Electric: Healing Wave of the Future, gives a thrilling glimpse into the world of the brain’s electric circuitry, and offers hope for anyone who suffers from anxiety, insomnia, depression, and pain. In a world that has come to rely on medication to treat every ailment, this film reveals the science behind a safer and more effective alternative.

The documentary explores Alpha-Stim® technology and the ways in which it is being used worldwide by leading research organizations, the United Kingdom’s NHS, the U.S. Military, and others as a revolutionary alternative to pharmaceuticals.

Alpha-Stim is an FDA cleared cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) device proven to treat anxiety, insomnia, depression, and pain. Its clinical and cost effectiveness, as well as its safety, surpasses that of medications, and it is backed by decades of research and results. As Alpha-Stim inventor and neurobiologist Dr. Daniel L. Kirsch says, “the future of medicine is in biophysics, not in biochemistry.”

Justin Smith, producer of the documentary, interviews healthcare professionals who have incorporated Alpha-Stim into their treatment protocol, including

  • Kathy Platoni, Clinical Psychologist, Col, US Army (Ret)
  • Professor Sriram Yennu, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
  • Jean-Ronel Corbier, Pediatric Neurologist
  • Ava Frick, Integrative Veterinarian
  • Steve Haltiwanger, Psychiatrist

Also appearing in the documentary is Medal of Honor Recipient Dakota Meyer, who credits Alpha-Stim with helping him be a better, more present father for his young children, and avoid self-medicating with alcohol.

The Brain Electric explores not only Alpha-Stim’s impact on humans, but animals as well. “Alpha-Stim has helped save the lives of countless animals who may otherwise have been put to sleep due to their pain,” says Dr. Frick.
